Seam The World is visiting Uganda and our friends M-LISADA Organization. Together we are working together to enhance the quality of life for vulnerable women and children. Seam The World is very happy to be supporting a women’s health reusable sanitary pad project.

The reusable sanitary pads will be given to school girls on the impoverished island of Kalangala and will help make sure that they don’t miss school or drop out of school due to not having sanitary pads (which is a common problem in Uganda). We are extra happy to see the reusable sanitary pads being made because they are being made with one of the sewing machines that Seam The World Donated last year.
