On August 7th, 2016 Seam The World hosted a fun skateboarding event with artists Julian Rigby, Brandon Bailey and Callan Stirrat from Australia.
Knowing that these kids are really passionate about this sport, STW has tried to connect them to the skateboarder artists as the way to encourage them to stay in school and live happily.
Saigon Skateboard is a great playground for their favorite sport in Saigon. Three skateboarder artists had performed and showed them several technical tricks. Most of all, it was all about having a lot of fun on a beautiful Sunday. Our wish is to create an opportunity for the children to have outdoor activities away from studying and working at the orphanage. STW believed the children’s physical and mental health are just as importantly as other basic needs in neccesity, nutrition meals, and education.
We hope the children would take our gift as a motivation to stick up with school and work for better future.
ART can change the world, and It starts with YOU.
