Seam The World had a great visit filled with fun, games, candy and artistic and educational coloring activities that were centered around the environmental education. We would like to send a big heartfelt thank you to all of our wonderful and generous donators. A special thanks to the awesome Quyen N Le, Võ Bảo Phúc for spending your precious weekend time volunteering to join us on the trip.

This Pagoda is 100km outside of Ho Chi Minh City and is in need of support. Seam The World is happy that we could make this delivery which will help make sure that the children and the nuns who look after them have enough food to eat for awhile. Donating to them not only improves their quality of life it also shows the children that we care about them and that there are people thinking about them. We will be making a delivery to this Pagoda every two months. Please let us know if you are interested in joining us. We are also looking for someone that is interested in teaching an art class to the children.

About Tịnh Thất Phước Long Diền Pagoda:Tịnh Thất Phước Long Diền Pagoda is a simple and modest pagoda. There are 45 children aged 3 – 18 that live at the Pagoda (around of the children 15 have mental disabilities.) The children go to school and are well taken care of by Nun Thuy and the other nuns at the Pagoda. Nun Thuy looks after the children with love, compassion and a deep understanding of their lives. She was also brought to live at a Pagoda when she was a young child and now uses that experience to help take care of the children at the Pagoda.
